This spring I had the great honor of being a bridesmaid for a dear friend of mine! Although we were quite busy with bridesmaid duties, true to form I was not without a camera. Here are a few of my favorite shots of details!

Take two very fun loving people and you have the fabulous couple of Julie and Mike! This spring we captured a variety of photos at Webster Hill schoolyard, Beachland Park and Wood Pond. The beach holds special meaning for these two so we had to include water and sand! Can’t wait to photograph their wedding this summer! Congratulations to Julie and Mike!

At the corner of Tower Grove Ave and Shaw Boulevard is a beautiful Methodist Church. The stain class windows alone will win you over with the afternoon sunlight. This spring we photographed a wedding here and loved capturing the union of these two families. Congratulations to the happy new couple!

This past winter I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful wedding in Illinois. The reception was held at the Beall Mansion located in Alton, Illinois. We would highly recommended this wonderful bed and breakfast for your next formal event!

Anna and Adrian are engaged! This joyous couple brought so much love and admiration for one another to their session. We walked around Forest Park in Saint Louis, Missouri laughing, smiling and photographing so many smiles! One of the photographer’s favorite shots was recaputring a piggy back ride the couple had photographed before the engagement. It was also similar to an engagement photo Anna’s sister had done years before so it held multiple meanings for the happy couple. Congratulations and lots of happiness to Anna and Adrian on their special day!

I had the unique opportunity to photograph a bride at the St. Louis Zoo. We walked around the zoo to various exhibits and ended at the butterfly house located by the children’s Discovery Corner. With the extreme patience and kind devotion of the attendant, we were able to capture multiple butterflies on our young bride. The bright white of the elegant dress attracted these creatures’ attention and their bright vibrant colors added the perfect touches for this nontraditional bridal session.

Christina and James were married this May in Missouri’s background of lush green sprinkled with sparkling rain. It was a loveable ceremony with lots of laughter followed by a snazzy dancing exit for the bride and groom. The bridal party of close friends made for lighthearted photos, and there were lots of joyful tears for the toasting. Congratulations to the happy couple and here’s to many more days of laughter and bright smiles!

Pretty pink bows, handsome brown vests and sweet white flowers all came together for Beth and Jared’s special day! Here are a few of my favorites from this beautifully tender day. We had bridesmaids and groomsmen looking their best, and a stylish young ring bearer with an adorable smile on this joyous day for the wonderful couple!
