One year wedding anniversary!

Sunday, September 25th, 2011

Happy anniversary to Megan and Paul! In August 2010 we joined them on a rainy day as they were wed in absolute bliss. On their first anniversary we joined them again at Forest Park in St. Louis, Missouri and this time the rain held off! We started at the Muny and the Art Museum, then a few fountains around the park before we headed down to the St. Louis Arch and court house. Such a sweet afternoon with the happy couple. And they both loved the opportunity to wear their wedding gear again! What a great anniversary session!

The new company, Defy Photography LLC has been busy photographing family sessions, birthday parties, engagement sessions and of course weddings. Here are a few of my favorites from our first Georgia Wedding. Even though the weather was not sunny there was still a lot of love and happiness expressed on this joyous day.

Another wonderful wedding at the Beall Mansion in Alton, Illinois! Between the flowers and the sun light there was a beautiful blend of fall tones. This bride was a perfectly radiant lady and we loved all the natural light that joined us on this special day. Congratulations for these two! Many years of smiling, laughing and loving together!

Megan and Paul’s wedding day favorites!

Monday, October 18th, 2010

In late August Megan and Paul were married at a Presbyterian church in the Central West End. We then enjoyed time at Forest Park taking photographs at the Muny and one of the many wonderful waterfalls. Whether you have rain or sunshine, Forest Park always has options for your wedding day portraits!

Julie and Mike’s day in August

Thursday, October 7th, 2010

Julie and Mike tied the knot! We had a fabulous engagement session back in May and then this August there was many smiles and looks of joy as these two wonderful people exchanged vows. It was a great honor to work for this bride and her father, for these two are some of the first ever to introduce me to the world of photography. The whole wedding party was a thrill to work with, especially the two lovely flower girls! Wishing Julie and Mike many long years of happiness and laughter!
