With the fall leaves changing colors and lots of unique fences to admire, I captured some fun shots in the Central West End and Forest Park. Don’t forget to stop and take time this fall to notice the beauty around you!

This August has been filled with lots of weddings, senior portraits and engagement photos. While I keep busy with editing of those photos, here’s a few quiet moments from the Botanical Gardens here in St. Louis. Lots of different flowers and many different cultural gardens combined in one location for an afternoon of peaceful outdoor enjoyment. Don’t forget your driver’s license for discounts for local residents!

Forest Park in St. Louis, Missouri has a water fountain for great crazy fun! Whether for senior portraits, family fun or just because you can find this fabulous attraction at the base of the World Fair Pavilion located on Government Drive. Grab some friends, go check it out, and be prepared to get soaked!

This past winter I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful wedding in Illinois. The reception was held at the Beall Mansion located in Alton, Illinois. We would highly recommended this wonderful bed and breakfast for your next formal event!

While visiting a friend in Havelock, North Carolina we went shopping for knitting and crocheting supplies. Our favorite stop was at Phootsy’s Yarn Cottage in Jacksonville, NC. We were warmly greeted and made to feel at home immediately. Phootsy’s provides instructors  for types of classes, every color and pattern of yarn imaginable and friendly conversation. Spring is here! And for some fun photos I would recommend the water fountains of Forest Park. In the Children’s Zoo of Forest Park you can find both kids and adults alike splashing around and having fun. Just be prepared to get soaked!

Just a few snapshots from a quick weekend trip to Seattle, Washington this past summer. If you are ever thinking about a quick get away I would recommend this fabulous west coast state. From the hiking trails with endless waterfalls and the sunset views of rolling mountains to the beautiful architecture at University of Washington, all these combined together make for one gorgeous sightseeing vacation!

This winter I went downtown for an outdoor shoot of the St. Louis Arch. A fellow photographer and I tested the different shutter and aperture settings as the early evening lighting changed rapidly. Here are a few of my shots from this session.
