Lyssa’s Portraits

September 1st, 2010

With many shirts to choose from and lots of jewelry to wear, Lyssa and I had a wonderful full day of photographing. We managed to survive the summer heat of New Hampshire by finding the best shaded spots for our photo session. Here are some of my favorites of this fabulous young lady!

Details of the Botanical Gardens

August 23rd, 2010

This August has been filled with lots of weddings, senior portraits and engagement photos. While I keep busy with editing of those photos, here’s a few quiet moments from the Botanical Gardens here in St. Louis. Lots of different flowers and many different cultural gardens combined in one location for an afternoon of peaceful outdoor enjoyment. Don’t forget your driver’s license for discounts for local residents!

Not always a photographer, sometimes a bridesmaid!

July 22nd, 2010

This spring I had the great honor of being a bridesmaid for a dear friend of mine! Although we were quite busy with bridesmaid duties, true to form I was not without a camera. Here are a few of my favorite shots of details!

Photographed three beautiful grandkids this spring. The main focus was the portraits of the 2 year old and once he warmed up to the camera we got one smiley kid! Then a few shots of the two teenagers and add in parents! Like mother like daughter, all smiles were wonderful on that spring day!

Julie and Mike’s Engagement!

July 6th, 2010

Take two very fun loving people and you have the fabulous couple of Julie and Mike! This spring we captured a variety of photos at Webster Hill schoolyard, Beachland Park and Wood Pond. The beach holds special meaning for these two so we had to include water and sand! Can’t wait to photograph their wedding this summer! Congratulations to Julie and Mike!

Spring wedding at Shaw Boulevard!

June 20th, 2010

At the corner of Tower Grove Ave and Shaw Boulevard is a beautiful Methodist Church. The stain class windows alone will win you over with the afternoon sunlight. This spring we photographed a wedding here and loved capturing the union of these two families. Congratulations to the happy new couple!
