Happy anniversary to Megan and Paul! In August 2010 we joined them on a rainy day as they were wed in absolute bliss. On their first anniversary we joined them again at Forest Park in St. Louis, Missouri and this time the rain held off! We started at the Muny and the Art Museum, then a few fountains around the park before we headed down to the St. Louis Arch and court house. Such a sweet afternoon with the happy couple. And they both loved the opportunity to wear their wedding gear again! What a great anniversary session!

A wonderful wedding on a dinner cruise on Lake George in upstate New York! Surrounded by family and friends brought laughter, comical moments, tears of love and a fabulous evening of memories. Best of luck to the couple. Here’s to many years of happiness and love!

The new company, Defy Photography LLC has been busy photographing family sessions, birthday parties, engagement sessions and of course weddings. Here are a few of my favorites from our first Georgia Wedding. Even though the weather was not sunny there was still a lot of love and happiness expressed on this joyous day.

These rings together are a symbol that everyone in the world recognizes. Once every two years we come together as a world to compete, share talent, and to celebrate that talent. This week one of our countries was met with a huge challenge. Let us reach out and express compassion to those in need. Remember back to that opening ceremony you watched with the rest of the world, that one game you watched that took place half way around the world. Remember the one grand brotherhood we share during those games. Go today and express that same brotherhood! Go earn a Gold medal in compassion and service to someone in need!

In downtown Atlanta at Olympic Park, I decided to have fun taking photographs of posing shoes and moving legs!

Another wonderful wedding at the Beall Mansion in Alton, Illinois! Between the flowers and the sun light there was a beautiful blend of fall tones. This bride was a perfectly radiant lady and we loved all the natural light that joined us on this special day. Congratulations for these two! Many years of smiling, laughing and loving together!

I was asked to help with a special gift for a wedding anniversary; all the kids photographed together and then in all different combinations! It was such a fun Saturday morning coming up with different poses and ideas to give them the most variety. The final gifts were colleges of these photos! These guys and girls were great and I’d photograph them again in a heart beat!

Kelsey approached me to do a photo shoot this fall and of course I said yes! Once we pick our location, the old Eliestoun house on Principia Collage campus, we had outfit changes and climbing trees as part of our session. Kelsey is a beautiful young lady and was willing to try anything I asked of her!

This company is redesigning their website and needed profile pictures as well as a few group photos. They are going with an All American theme and so we modeled their individual head shots after Presidential photographs. We then did a group photo inside and one outside along side their product.
